The Nursing Department at Minneapolis College is committed to excellence in teaching and learning as we educate the next generation of nurses. Faculty members collaborate in the delivery of nursing courses to prepare students to complete their Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and to take the national nursing licensure exam, NCLEX-RN. These positions may teach all components of pre-licensure nursing education: theory, lab, and clinical. Visit https://www.minnstate.edu/system/asa/academicaffairs/cfc/fields/500039.html for details. **Education Requirement** + Graduate degree with a major in nursing, or + Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a graduate degree in support of the field of nursing and/or education. **Occupational Experience Requirement** + Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level. + As a registered nurse at the professional level, experientially qualified to accomplish the mission, goals, and expected student and faculty outcomes;including experiential preparation in the areas the faculty will teach. **Recency Requirement** + One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) post-secondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. **Professional Requirement** Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse (RN) with current registration in Minnesota. **Other Requirement:** Compliance with clinical affiliate policies for attending on-site clinical teaching assignments. **Preferred Qualification** + DNP or Ph.D. in Nursing. + Experience teaching college level nursing including theory, lab, and clinical. + Experience serving diverse and historically under-served populations. + Evidence of continuous professional development related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. + Proven commitment to student success and program completion. + Experience with learner outcomes assessment and evaluation. + Demonstrated ability to educate adult learners, multi-lingual learners, students with disabilities, and international students. + Working knowledge of instructional techniques and delivery methods such as online education, learning management systems (D2L Brightspace), digital technology, etc. **Other Requirements** Current and former employees must be in good standings with Minneapolis College to be considered for the position. **Benefits: Salary:** Full time faculty salaries currently range from $43,067– $94,542 annually.
