The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. **Professional Requirement** + Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse (RN) with current registration in Minnesota. + **Other Requirement:** Compliance with clinical affiliate policies for attending on-site clinical teaching assignments. **Preferred Qualification** + Three full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level. + Teaching experience at the community/technical college level or demonstrated commitment to the mission, vision, and values of community and technical colleges. + Experience in course design and teaching in at least two or more of the following instructional modalities: face-to-face in the classroom, hybrid (online and face-to-face), online synchronous or online asynchronous. + Evidence of active and experiential learning strategies. + Experience in assessment of student learning that includes a variety of summative and formative strategies. + Evidence of active and continuous professional development. + Recent clinical practice in long term care, transitional care and/or medical and surgical nursing. + Understanding of holistic and healing principles. + Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, teach, and serve in an institution with a culturally, ethnically/racially, economically, and linguistically diverse workforce and student population. + Experience incorporating and confidence in using technology in course delivery including learning platforms, manikin technology, and library utilization. **Other Requirements** **Additional Requirements** To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
