JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Office, performs a wide variety of complex duties requiring a high degree of accuracy, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment and provides technical and secretarial assistance in planning, organizing, and controlling the workflow in order to accomplish the objectives of the department and organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma required. A degree in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health care setting, preferably with experience in decedent affairs, patient services.
Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated managerial/ supervisory skills. Demonstrated leadership skills through collaborative practice, demonstrated time management skills to the satisfaction of the director. Skilled in usages of computers and programs in a hospital setting. Skilled usage of MS Office applications. Strong communication and organizational skills. Good planning, time management, and decision-making skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer focused.
License/Certifications: Current licenses and or certifications, if applicable to professional agencies.
Equipment: Computer use, Electronic medical record, phone system, fax, copier and office equipment per departmental needs.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$22.00 - $30.57
The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
