Apply today to our Nursing Administration Business Manager and be a part of the innovation of ideas. **Job Summary and Qualifications** **In this role, responsibilities include:** Manages nurse manager’s calendars, schedules meetings and events, and coordinates arrangements including assembling packets of information, creating agendas, attending meetings and taking minutes, coordinating catering, confirming A/V, etc. Answer phones and directs call as appropriate. Greets and directs incoming visitors. File expense reports using Concur. Log and Edit employee time in Kronos. Complete departmental and quality audits as assigned and trained. Works with the patient advocate and leaders on service recovery needs. Organizes power point presentations and business strategy plans. Submits and tracks capital quotes, POs and CERs in partnership with the finance team. Develops power point presentation for business case reviews. Assists with process improvement initiatives and analysis. Organizes policy and procedure reviews and deadlines. Extracts and disseminates medication portal (BCMA) reports monthly to the MDT and Medication Committees. Completes monthly goal alignment board communication and posts to assigned units Pulls nursing KPI data for manager review and oversight. Completes and tracks retention checklist as items are completed or coming due. Runs reports for ORBIT and RESOLVE rounding and stoplight report creation. Maintains departmental organizational charts. Completes Magnet program data entries and unit scorecard disbursement. Works with business development and marketing team to promote and organize physician office visits, materials, and community events to department teams. Organizes ordering of colleague gifts and recognition items throughout the year for special events and celebrations. Participates in the EAG and planning committees for annual staff events. Work collaboratively with executive assistants and department leaders to complete projects. Interacts with administrative staff, outside agencies, vendors, physicians, corporate/division staff, as well as departments within the facility. Reviews supply chain needs and completes purchases. Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently, and prioritize job responsibilities to ensure that work flow is smooth for office efficiency. **What qualifications you will need:** + Bachelors Degree required + Masters Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred + Two to three years office experience preferred + Strong customer service and communication skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, WebEx Medical City McKinney opened its doors more than 90 years ago.
