Nursing Assist, Lift Team
We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** SSRRH-Sutter Santa Rosa Reg Hospital **Position Overview:** The NA works under the supervision of the RN or LVN. The NA is responsible for competent, compassionate and individualized lifting turning ambulation for patients for which the NA has demonstrated age specific competencies (e.g., vital signs, hygiene, ADL). **Job Description** : **EDUCATION** + HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience _Required_ **EXPERIENCE** + Experience in healthcare; hospital, nursing school or long-term care facility, EMT or paramedic training. _Required_ **LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS** + Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA _Preferred_ **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** + Communicates effectively in English (verbal and written). + Has effective skills in communication and interpersonal relationships. + Has the flexibility to adapt to new and changing situations. + Has the ability to think critically and set priorities. + Participates as a collaborative member of the Patient Care Team. + Demonstrates the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-specific care to patients served. + Demonstrates competencies required by department (per initial orientation and annual review). + Working knowledge of established safety topics (e.g., Infection Control, Electrical Safety, Disaster) as required by department and organizational standards. **Job Shift:** Nights **Schedule:** Per Diem/Casual **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** Every other Weekend **Benefits:** No **Unions:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 0 **Employee Status:** Per Diem/Casual Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
