Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Float to assigned unit/s: Med surg/Tele or ICUAssists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygieneProvides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patientsAssists in maintenance of a safe and clean environmentWorks under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unitAnswers phones and call lightsEnsures unit is stocked with suppliesAssists patient transporter as neededOther duties as assigned

Shifts: Day Shift 0700-1930 or Night Shift 1930- 0700 including some weekends shifts

QualificationsSuccessful completion of a certified nursing assistant program (strongly preferred).Current BCLS certification (required)Ability to read and communicate effectively in English (required).Basic computer knowledge (preferred).Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience (preferred).
