Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Float to assigned unit/s: Med surg/Tele or ICUAssists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygieneProvides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patientsAssists in maintenance of a safe and clean environmentWorks under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unitAnswers phones and call lightsEnsures unit is stocked with suppliesAssists patient transporter as neededOther duties as assigned

Shifts: 0700-1930

QualificationsSuccessful completion of a certified nursing assistant program (preferred).Current BCLS certification (required)Ability to read and communicate effectively in English (required).Basic computer knowledge (preferred).Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience (preferred).
