Nursing Assistant | Addiction Medicine Clinic

As a Nursing Assistant in the Addiction Medicine Clinic, you will support patient care needs by performing delegated patient care and non-patient care tasks. Duties include rooming patients and checking vitals, cleaning and ensuring rooms at stocked appropriately, assisting with the needs and comfort of patients among many other tasks. We are a growing Addiction Medicine Clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain recovery through comprehensive medical, therapeutic, and support services.

Schedule

Full-time | 64 hours per two weeks | Addiction Medicine Clinic  Days | Monday -Friday | 7:30am-5pm No weekends or holidays!

Pay and Benefits

$16.73 or more per hour, pay determined by experience. Full-time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED  Proof of successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program – OR –  Experience as a Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant or Health/Hospice Aide required  Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card Prepare Training Program (PTP) completed within one year of hire  For any persons who will be employed in a CentraCare Addiction Services, and who have direct client contact must have been free of chemical use problems for at least the two years immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact.  Chemical use problems include the following: 1. Receiving treatment for chemical use within the period specified for the position in the staff qualification requirements 2. Chemical use that has a negative impact on the employee’s job performance 3. Chemical use that affects the credibility of the treatment services with clients, referral sources or other members of the community. 4. Symptoms of intoxication or withdrawal on the job Prior experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, or a related field preferred
