Responsibilities:

Provides direct patient care (bathing, feeding, transporting, toileting, ambulating). Maintains a safe and clean environment (safety checks, cleaning, organizing). Acquires and distributes supplies and equipment. Delivers patient nourishments and mail. Performs core nursing assistant tasks (vital signs, specimen collection, Foley care). Communicates effectively with the healthcare team. Supports patient safety and recovery. Receives and acts on feedback for improvement. Reports equipment malfunctions and ensures proper communication. Documents patient care and completes clerical tasks. Adheres to safety policies and infection control procedures. Provides companionship and supervision to patients as needed.
