We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** EMC - Eden Medical Center **Position Overview:** The Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to a patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. **Job Description** : Patient Care + Provides care with respect and attention to patient privacy, age specific needs and cultural diversity. + Responds to call lights promptly and routinely rounds on patients. + Follows direction of RN and completes assigned tasks independently. + Demonstrates ability to perform basic nursing care procedures including, but no limited to: • Bathing• Feeding• Weights• Vital Signs• Linen Changes • Positioning, transferring and ambulating• Measurement of intake and output • Specimen collection EDUCATION + Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. + HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience + Other: Hospital Assistant or equivalent training (nursing student) CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE + CNA-Certified Nurse Assistant + ACNP-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner + BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: + Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant an acute care hospital required or nursing student.
