Ebenezer-Lake City Care Center TCU LTC offers a robust benefits package and wages ranging from $21.92 - 23.73 / hour.

Shift differentials of $1.00 evenings and $1.50 nights

 

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our adult residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake City, MN! This role provides hands on care and support services for our Care Center long term care unit residents and young adult-geriatric Transitional care unit patients.

 

This patient support schedule includes;

Lake City Care Center is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer. At any given time, as many as 90 people call our beautiful, vibrant and welcoming Long Term and Transitional Care Center their home. Our care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so residents don't have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.

Responsibilities/Job Description Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lightsNursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitalsAM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter careMay turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistanceObserves residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise mannerChart or document in electronic medical record systemSeeks to resolve resident and family concernsReceives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shiftOther duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner Qualifications Required:Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry by start dateIf hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant Training program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registryPreferred:Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric populationCommunicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkersExperience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident AssistantWork experience in a customer service setting Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
