Nursing Assistant II Rehab

Description:

At Saint Francis Hospital, the Nursing Assistant II carries out tasks supportive and complimentary to Nursing practice, which may include various clerical, messenger, and housekeeping functions according to philosophy, policies, procedures and/or protocols of Mount Sinai Campus.  Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients, primarily focusing on the adult patient.

Collect and report patient information and dataHelp patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, elimination, skin care, bathing and dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility and ambulationPatient TransportCollection of specimensDistribution of linens and supplies to patient roomsDeliver ice and beverages to patients

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED.   A graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training ProgramFive years CNA experience requiredCertification: Current Connecticut Nurse Aide Registry certification required.  BLS certification required Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
