What you will do
•\tCollect and report patient information and data
•\tHelp patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing and dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility and ambulation
•\tPatient Transport
•\tCollection of specimens
•\tDistribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms
•\tDeliver ice and beverages to patients
•\tAs assigned, stays with at-risk patients to monitor patient safety
Minimum Qualifications
•\tEducation: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a Connecticut approved Nurse Aide Training Program preferred or in process of earning a BA in Nursing OR Health Sciences with at least one clinical completed OR significant previous healthcare related experience
•\tProof with college transcript required OR have significant nurse assistant/healthcare related experience is required
•\tCertification: BLS certification required
•\tPrevious experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting preferred
•\tAbility to pass drug screening and background check
