Nursing Assistant/Nurse Aide (Non-Certified)

$1,500 sign on bonus for part-time every other weekend position and $3,000 for part-time midnight position!

IHM Senior Living Community in Monroe is currently seeking a part-time Nurse Aide (non-certified). The Nurse Aide will be responsible for a variety of resident related direct care duties, such as recording vital signs, transporting, transferring, toileting, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming residents, encouraging highest level of independence, and validating residents' concerns. 

Part-Time schedules include working every other weekend and every other holiday:

2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (16 hours per pay period) 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. (56 hours per pay period)

Qualifications 

Education: High school graduate/GED

Experience: Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred, but not required. 

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests, & abilities Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Working knowledge of personal computers and related software Ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgments. Dependability, with the ability to follow direction. Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
