Obtaining daily weights and blood sugar testing; Preparation of delivery carts; OB OR and Transitional Nursery; Feeding and weighing infants; Assists RN during deliveries as directed; Provides 1:1 safety companion care; Aptitude and willingness to engage in all aspects of patient care; Adheres to infection-control policies and protocols; Promotes personal and patient safety. Unit Coordinator duties Construct charts, answer phones and other clerical duties as delegated by the Family Birth Center team. Ability to handle multiple office equipment such as fax, copy equipment and multiple phone lines. Serves as scribe during neonatal stabilization as directed by RNHousekeeping Duties to include but not limited to, performing a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, critical delivery area, family waiting room and other assigned areas of the hospital. Operate mechanical floor cleaners, polishers, and vacuums. Buff strip, wax and polish floors. Wet mop floors, halls, stairways and public areas. Shampoo rugs and furniture. Clean vents, fans and other equipment using vacuum machines.
