Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $22.19 - $28.00 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

Martin Luther Care Center is seeking a part-time Weekend Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care and Long term care)! This role provides hands on care and support services for our senior age patients at our spacious care center in Bloomington, MN.

Responsibilities/Job Description Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lightsNursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitalsAM/PM/NOC cares; including peri care and catheter careMay turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistanceObserves residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise mannerChart or document in electronic medical record systemSeeks to resolve resident and family concernsReceives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shiftOther duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner Qualifications Required:Active as Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date – OR- Individual who is hired into Ebenezer’s Nursing Assistant Course or Ebenezer’s Pre-CNA job for Nursing Assistants; will be granted a 4-month post hire to become active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.)Preferred:Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric populationCommunicate efficiently, with compassion and understanding for residents and coworkersExperience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident AssistantWork experience in a customer service setting Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
