Oversees and provides educational needs of the Peri-Operative areas. + Coordinates new employee orientation. + Develops clinical orientation pathway and timeline. + Mentors and monitors progress of new and existing employees. Provides feedback in a constructive way. + Maintains documentation of TM education records including competencies, progress, and goal setting. + Provides ongoing development/continuing education. + Uses a multi-disciplinary approach to foster inclusivity. + Completes introductory evaluations in a timely fashion. + Adheres to policy and procedure and acts as a resource for team members. + Actively participates in local and system education initiatives, peri-op fellowship program and policy development following AORN standards.
