Mary Wade Home has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursing Home Administrator who is ready to be part of a community that has been servicing Greater New Haven since it was founded.
Annual Salary Range: $120,000 to $130,000
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation for the Kimberly Center Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal regulations to ensure all levels of care operate in compliance with regulatory requirements for a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Our campus includes:
+ 94 bed skilled nursing facility
+ 45 bed residential care home
+ Adult Day Center which accommodates up to 60 seniors
+ Transportation Team that serves our residents and the community
+ 84 unit assisted living residence
Job Responsibilities:
+ Manage the day-to-day functions of the SNF as well as its programs and services.
+ Support department heads in the creation and implementation of programming, policies, procedures, and quality control.
+ As part of the leadership team, interact with outside agencies, including governmental agencies and third-party payers.
+ As part of the leadership team, participate in creating greater efficiencies and streamlining processes and procedures.
+ Manage budgets for all levels of responsibility
+ Keep up to date on State and Federal laws; ensure timely implementation
+ Serve on the senior leadership team
+ Play a role in creating and driving strategic plans
The successful candidate will have:
+ Active CT Nursing Home Administrator License
+ At least 7 to 10 years’ experience as an Administrator
+ The ability to build open relationships as well as foster trust and collaboration at all levels of the organization and demonstrate the organization’s values in day-to-day interactions.
+ A warm, friendly demeanor; comfortable with an open-door policy
+ An eye for details in managing both the physical plant and regulatory requirements.
+ Strong budget management skills
+ Ability to track and analyze performance metrics
