Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU. Responsibilities This position serves as the clinical leader responsible for operations and management of the ICU unit. The Nurse Manager assumes responsibility for shift operations such as making appropriate assignments, coordinating care, resolving issues, functioning as the resource nurse, participating in staffing decisions, rounding on patients, and maintaining TJC compliance. The Nurse Manager assumes long range responsibilities such as employee evaluations, corrective action, business/budget planning, and performance improvement. Qualifications Job Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing Certified in critical care nursing by American Association of critical care nurses or 3 Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing BSN required ACLS and BLS required Preferred Job Requirements 2 years’ experience as a Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse preferred 2 years’ experience in an ICU in a hospital setting preferred
