Nursing Operations Manager – Nursing Administration

A caregiver in this position works rotating shifts from 6:00PM – 6:00AM. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Identify and ensure appropriate placement, facilitation and expedition of all patient flow transactions, including direct and emergency patient admissions and transfers, in accordance with established clinical standards and knowledge of disease entities. Address significant patient issues and staffing needs throughout the house and make modifications to ensure equitable staffing arrangements throughout the hospital. Communicate changes with relevant leaders. Manage the patient experience trans-organizationally to optimize all resources to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Perform other duties as assigned. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of professional nursing Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Three years of experience in an acute care setting 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

One year of management experience

Physical Requirements:

Frequent walking, standing, sittingManual dexterity, corrected vision, and hand and eye coordinationMedium Work, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objectsPhysical Demand requirements in excess of those for Light Work
