Overview The Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Generalist works to improve the professional practice and role competence of nurses and other healthcare personnel by facilitating ongoing learning, change, role competence and growth. The NPD Generalist is responsible for the ongoing delivery of education programs and activities. The NPD Generalist works collaboratively to assess, identify, plan, implement, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate educational activities. The NPD Generalist provides education to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care and nursing's vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.
