Supports research conducted through the Office of Nursing Research at UVA Health - University Medical Center
Manages IRB Protocols on behalf o the ONR, including monitoring of results and detection of adverse events as a result of study protocols.
Provides consultation and/or assistance to nurses as it relates to study patients protocol and research guidelines.
Assists the Principal Investigators during audits by sponsoring agency or other regulatory bodies.
Tracks appropriate data to assess patient’s response to study protocol.
Performs area-specific support/clinical activities.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $33.27 - $53.23 HourlyMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Master's Degree or Equivalent Education and Experience.
Experience: Experience with human subjects research and interacting with an Institutional Review Board is required.
Licensure: Must be a registered nurse and currently licensed to practice in the State of Virginia.

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently traveling (distance: ¼ mile). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 10lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
