Position Summary
The Nutrition Assistant is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.Responsibilities
You will collaborate as a team member with Nursing staff, Doctors, Clinical Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, and other department staff to provide optimal nutrition care for patientsYou will perform a variety of consistent and routine functions from processing meals, menu modification to tray accuracyYou will provide outstanding customer service in support of our organizational values while serving a diverse populationRequirements
High school graduate or equivalentTwo-year degree in Nutrition preferredCurrent Washington State Food Handlers Card within seven (7) days of hireMinimum one (1) year food service experienceMinimum one (1) year of experience in a direct patient care setting preferredMinimum six (6) months experience in a customer service-oriented position preferredWashington State Food Handler's CardOur Values

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.42 - $31.07 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
