As a Nutrition Service Worker at MercyOne, you will prepare patient trays; serves patients and visitors in café, or assigned dining area; washes dishes, including pots and pans; cleans assigned work areas; puts away stock; set up service and special functions. In addition, they may operate the cash register, following proper cash procedures and the serve in the role of transporter. + Assembles patient trays according to appropriate diet. + Serves patients and visitors in café or dining area as assigned. + Performs dishwashing duties, wash pots and pans and clean work areas. + Puts away stock following safety guidelines. + Set-up/serve special functions. + May operates cash register, following proper cash procedures. + Maintains accurate, balanced change bank when working cafeteria. + Understands and demonstrates the proper use and care and maintenance all dietary equipment and supplies, continually learning new technology. + Observes proper sanitary techniques. + Transport meals to other sites. **Schedule:** + 11:30 am – 8:00 pm; Every other weekend; holiday rotation **General Requirements:** + Must be able to read and understand labels, production orders, and storeroom set-up. + Must have the ability to learn special diets. + Must have valid Driver’s License. + Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. + Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
