Responsibilities The Nutritionist is responsible for guest nutritional education via private consultations, workshops, group presentations and informal talks with guests. Actively participates in Nutrition program development and promotion of the Nutrition department. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience working with clients on various issues including weight loss, preventative nutrition, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and digestive disorders preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: possess a wellness background in a field of specialty relevant to Canyon Ranch's philosophy. possess a clear understanding of current and trending nutritionist Food & Beverage concepts possess an interest in and knowledge of good nutrition and healthy lifestyles. skilled in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. demonstrate great communication skills both verbal and written, including public speaking, technical writing and lecture development skills. possess a dynamic and effective training style. excellent judgement and the ability to handle and maintain confidential information. Certification/License: Registered Dietitian Certification or license in Arizona or Master's degree in Nutrition and Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), or Master's degree in Nutrition and Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN)
