The Core Network Engineering Unit at Ericsson is at the forefront of driving innovation in the Packet Core domain, playing a pivotal role in our technology leadership. As part of the Packet Core team, you'll be instrumental in securing our market leadership in 5G, while continuously investing in sustainable technology solutions within a fiercely competitive market. A key element in our 5G strategy is the development and enhancement of the Operation and Maintenance Framework (O&M), which is crucial for managing network in a dynamic mobile broadband environment.
Packet Core System & Technology has undergone a strategic reorganization, uniting System Managers and System Architects into a single entity. This cohesive organization is dedicated to fulfilling the system-level technical requirements across the entire lifecycle of our packet core products, including the non-functional areas like O&M.
What You Will Do
We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced System Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will shape the technical vision and mission of our network systems, contribute to product evolution plans, and ensure the accuracy of system requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating on product evolution plans and roadmaps.
• Providing insights from both functional and platform perspectives.
• Validating system requirements for accuracy.
• Generating and maintaining critical product requirements and studies.
• Overseeing project artifacts and feature perspectives.
• Supporting technical excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
• Providing technical guidance to multi-functional teams.
• Assisting in technical problem-solving for customer issues.
• Participating in customer meetings and technical discussions.
• Addressing architectural issues and system critical features.
• Contributing to standardization efforts internally and externally.
• Engaging in End-to-End (E2E) studies, including IMS Voice.
You will bring
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Proven experience in Telecom area
• Hands-on and proven experience & knowledge in one of the Operation and Maintenance areas:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with standardization processes and the mobile broadband standard
This role requires work in a hybrid model (3 days from the office in Kraków/Łódź and 2 days from home weekly).
