GENERAL FUNCTIONS
The Associate Production Planner Buyer works with internal partners in manufacturing to understand material and demand requirements.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule the planning and procuring material requirements for various eyewear categories Work alongside Planners to support production plans that drive optimal inventory levels Work on scheduling new releases to ensure material coverage of launch dates Identifies instances when supplier orders need to be expedited and partners with Planners to mitigate a delay in schedules due to unforeseen conditions Builds partnership with internal clients and local suppliers to support the efforts of Sr./Planners Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent 1 years of experience in Production purchasing and/or planning Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to multi-task and prioritize Experience with SAP MM, PP and/or BW Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access and basic MS desktop applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field MRP experience in a manufacturing environment Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experiencePay Range: [[28.14]] - [[37.98]]
