GENERAL FUNCTIONS

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing the order pulling operation of raw and semi-finished materials and flow of kits across warehouse and manufacturing units, in support of production/manufacturing. The Supervisor also manages receiving raw materials from external vendors and shipping Finished Goods to Distributions Centers.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete operations plan by scheduling and assigning personnel to accomplish department’s goals Establish priorities, monitor progress, revise schedules, resolve problems, and report results of the process flow on shift production summaries Develop and implement action plans to meet department goals in the areas of labor efficiency, labor utilization, housekeeping, and productivity improvements Recommend measures to improve methods, equipment performance and the quality of material delivery and service to hit target KPIs Monitor Production Order queue to maintain healthy Kit Lanes.  Establish engineered standards using time study techniques Develop Standard Work / Standard Operating Procedures and participate in Oakley Lean System Initiatives Investigate transactional and procedural problems with raw parts, subassemblies, and finished product, and make recommendations to correct Ensure that required materials and tools are available and in working condition to meet the department’s objectives Measure and evaluate employee performance according to company standards for quality, productivity, and career advancement Ensure that there is an adequate distribution of skills to enable production plan to be achieved effectively Ensure that physical condition of the warehouse is being maintained through appropriate cleaning policies, and coordinating with facilities to consistently inspect the condition of equipment, racking, etc... Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols; works closely with Security and Environmental, Health and Safety departments Conduct Cross Function communication to streamline VOC and seek solutions Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in relate field 3+ years of experience in a warehouse and logistics environment 1+ year of supervisory/leadership experience Proven track record of individual accomplishment, contribution and team based success Demonstrated ability to establish and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external clients Creative and innovative when looking for solutions for start-up problems, and provides idea’s for technical or organizational improvements Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications such as Excel, and Word

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in a high volume and multiple shift environment, desired Experience with SAP highly desired

​Pay Range: [[64,168.85 ]]  - [[96,117.00 ]] 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
