**Summary:** At Meta Reality Labs, we innovate novel optical hardware for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality devices. The Optical Additive Manufacturing (OAM) team is a new group within the Display and Optics organization at Meta Reality Labs. The goal of this team is to incubate and deploy disruptive technologies from NTI to product. We are looking for Service Technician Services to support the OAM team, from someone with hands-on experience with equipment development, preventive maintenance, calibrations, and hardware upgrades on printer related tools. **Required Skills:** OAM Service Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Organize the repair and maintenance of equipment, calibrations, and operation spot checks to ensure the normal operation of daily application DOEs. 2. Responsible for equipment training and promoting process optimization on the equipment. 3. Oversee the installation, modification, and upgrade of equipment in support of high precision requirements on products to meet optical and mechanical specifications. 4. Work with product teams to map out the specification requirements and DOE plan. 5. Deliver the agreed upon services on-time. 6. Proactively contribute ideas to support OAM and trigger the right discussions. 7. Drive the 3D printing platform operations to meet the optics design requirements in prototyping projects. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 8. Experience with equipment development, preventive maintenance, calibrations, and hardware upgrades on printer related tools 9. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience 10. Proven (internal) customer interactions 11. Knowledge of 3D Printing, hardware, process, and materials 12. 3D drawing skills (like Fusion360, SolidWorks or equivalents) 13. Experience designing and delivering prototypes and small-scale production batches **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 14. Hands on experience with 3D printing, injection molding, polymer extrusion, and thermal forming 15. Experience with data analysis and statistics using JMP, Minitab or other data analysis software 16. Experience with electronics and mechanical systems testing, associated data analysis and statistics 17.
