Emory Healthcare has an opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team as the new OB/GYN Fellowship Program Director. The role will be responsible for developing an educational curriculum and programming for our OB/GYN APP Fellowship program. This position will split time between between the APP Fellowship program and clinical work as an APP on our OB/GYN team.
Ieal candidate will have 2+ years experience as an NP or PA, as well as 2+ years experience of educational leadership experience.

DescriptionJob Responsibilities:
Develop an educational curriculum including didactics, clinical rotations, mentorship program and clinical simulation.Develop an evaluation method to review Fellows clinical performance and review appropriateness of clinical rotations and preceptors.Identify, council and/or provide remediation for Fellows.Perform and document a formal, systematic annual program evaluation of the educational curriculum that includes a review of Fellows performance, faculty development, and program quality including a confidential, written evaluation of the program by APP Fellows and faculty Program Operations/Administration.Oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education.Coordinate and participate in the screening and interview process for program candidates.Manage clinical scheduling and preceptor availability.In coordination with the Program administrator develop and document a formal budget for the program.Develop and oversee a process to evaluate faculty prior to approval as program faculty members for participation in the fellowship program education.Responsible for approving program faculty members for participation in the fellowship program education at all sites.
