**Overview**
This acacdemic OBGYN position with Dignity Health Medical Group is located in the Phoenix metro suburb of **Gilbert, AZ** . This employed position is intended to function as core clinical faculty for an anticipated new ACGME acredited OBGYN residency program. Gilbert, AZ, is a vibrant and family-friendly town situated in the southeast part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Boasting a desert climate with abundant sunshine, Gilbert offers residents approximately 300 days of clear skies each year. The town is recognized for its robust economy, access to top-rated schools and educational facilities. With low crime rates and a strong sense of community, it creates a safe and welcoming environment. The town features numerous parks, recreational areas, and family-oriented events, fostering an active outdoor lifestyle.
**Responsibilities**
Responsibilities will include:
+ Full scope OBGYN services including: deliveries, antepartum and intrapartum care. Along with annual examinations, gynecological surgery, contraceptive care and hormonal replacement.
+ Candidates should be interested in educating residents in OBGYN, as well as rotating residents from Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
+ Research or scholarly activities are expected with .2 FTE carve out for teaching and academics
+ In house call

**Qualifications**
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
+ MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification or Board Eligible
+ Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
+ Completed ACGME Residency training
+ Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
+ Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about providing quality care and furthering the healing ministry, while serving the poor and under privileged

**Pay Range**
$218.27 - $293.30 /hour
