Ob/Gyn Generalist – Open Rank
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Joe R. and Teresa Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Generalist to be a member of a highly productive Department of Generalists and Sub-specialists. Our delivery volume is increasing with the expectation that it will continue to increase over the next several years. We are seeking a motivated and energetic faculty member to grow within our department.
Applicants must be eligible for Medical Licensure in the State of Texas, and board-eligible applicants are expected to obtain Board Certification within 12 months of the hire date. Responsibilities include care of inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and gynecology patients, education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and participation in the Department's research mission. This faculty position will be required to be a member of our Labor and Delivery call team, with up to 3 overnight/weekend on-site calls per month.
Academic rank and salary will be based on experience and curriculum vitae. Clinical and/or basic science investigation opportunities are available. A comprehensive fringe benefit package, including matched retirement contributions and excellent health benefits is included.
