OB/GYN Practice Manager

Position Purpose:
The OB/GYN Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of the clinic, ensuring efficient business and clinical functions across administrative and clinical teams. This role provides leadership in staff management, operational efficiency, financial oversight, and patient experience, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. The Practice Manager plays a critical role in optimizing patient care delivery, resource utilization, and compliance with regulatory standards while upholding the mission, vision, and values of Holy Cross Health.
What You Will Do:
The overall operational responsibility for the routine business and clinical functions through administrative and clinical staff including front desk, medical records, nursing, and ancillary services to ensure maximum utilization of resources and the efficient delivery of services.Manage and lead daily operations to meet organizational goals and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.Oversee the recruitment, retention, development, and performance management of staff, including RNs, CNAs, and clerical team members.Actively participates in Colleague engagement and develops action plans as needed.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, residents, RNs, and CNAs, to ensure optimal patient care.Monitors patient flow through the practice to ensure appropriate utilization of physician time and staff coverage.Understand the financial and operational aspects of running a healthcare practice, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.Monitors practice budget and is responsible for ensuring budget compliance. Oversees the business and financial affairs of the practice, including providing input into annual budgeting process.In collaboration with staff leads, reviews charges, visit encounters, and cash receipts for variations and patterns. Conducts spot audits to ensure compliance.Develops action plans as related to metric outcomes. Paying special attention to FTE variance, budget variance, quality metrics and operational metrics.Ensure the practice is running efficiently by creating and monitoring metric-based reports on a regular cadence. Actively coordinates practice success in managed Quality plans.Act as a professional role model and representative of Holy Cross Health’s Mission, Vision, and Values.Patient Experience: Play a key role in improving patient care and satisfaction by streamlining clinic operations, optimizing resources, and enhancing care delivery.Routinely communicates patient experience results to physicians and staff. Monitors and approved patient transparency comments.Improve clinic operations and patient experience by actively participating in Process Excellence initiatives and optimizing resource allocation to maximize care.Professional Growth: Leverage your clinical and managerial experience in a dynamic health center setting, making a meaningful impact on women’s healthcare.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree – in nursing preferred, graduate degree in a related field preferred.BLS certification preferred, additional life support training as applicable.5 years of clinical experience in an acute care or health center setting (preferred)Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a supervisory role.Strong understanding of office practice operations, scheduling, and resource allocation.Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee clinic staff and operations.Ability to improve workflows, enhance patient care experiences, and manage resources effectively.Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.Position Highlights

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
