Job Description​

We are hiring for a FT OB Tech in our Float pool. This is a full time position working primarily night shift. Some day shifts may be required. This role will float between all 4 main hospital locations in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas.

Shift: 12-hour night shift, 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. Holidays, hard to staff times, and weekends required.

The OB Technician works within the organizational structure of the Labor and Delivery area for the metro entities and assists in delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention. 

Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.

Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Individualizes and modifies care according to the patient’s needs. Collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care. Assumes a multi-skilled role performing clinical and clerical functions that serves as an integral member of the primary patient care team.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of scrub tech experience required
