OBA Inspector
**Job Title: OBA Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated OBA Inspector for a 1st shift position (6 AM - 2:30 PM) with flexibility for overtime as needed. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality of our automated equipment by performing thorough audits at the OBA or Pre-Ship stage to identify and address any defects that may have escaped the manufacturing process. **Responsibilities** + Control the organization, movement, and integrity of lots as they move through the OBA process prior to shipment. + Transport boards to and from the backend of lines and the OBA area. Note: Large boxes and totes weigh 25-28 lbs, and large boards weigh 8-12 lbs. + Accurately interpret workmanship standards and systems integration. + Understand visuals, packaging, and testing requirements. + Be familiar with redlines, process alerts, deviations, and EC changes. + Apply knowledge of inspection practices, including special customer requirements. + Select, identify, scan, and visually inspect samples based on lot size. + Complete all OBA paperwork daily, including daily logs, sort sheets, lot numbers, and certificates of compliance. + Enter pass/fail data for each lot in the MES system. + Initiate internal corrective action reports in the CAR database and distribute to the responsible workcell team for action. + Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position. + Comply with all procedures within the company security policy. **Essential Skills** + Demonstrated ability and experience (1+ years) reading and interpreting engineering drawings. GD&T is a plus, but not required. + Experience (1+ years) using standard inspection equipment in an ISO9001/AS9100/ISO13485 or equivalent environment: Torque Drivers, Calipers, Micrometers, Pin Gauges, etc. + Previous experience (1+ years) working as an online inspector, receiving inspector, or equivalent. + Ability to explain DWG/BOM/Wirelists and documentation needed in inspections. + Knowledge of IPC 610, IPC 620, ISO standards, electronics, and medical devices. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with MES systems for data entry and inspection processes. + Familiarity with customer-specific inspection practices and requirements. + Capability to handle physical tasks involving the transport of heavy items. + Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and standards. **Why Work Here?** We offer a full benefits package, fostering a supportive and inclusive work culture.
