We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our OBGYN Float team, working in both New Rochelle and Purchase locations! ( very close to each other)
This role involves assisting with various patient care tasks and administrative duties to ensure efficient operation of the medical practice.
ResponsibilitiesRooming patients and preparing them for examinationsProviding patient education and answering questionsManaging phone calls and patient inquiriesHandling scans and documentationVerifying medicationsChecking patients in and outScheduling appointments and managing calendarsProcessing prior authorizationsEssential SkillsExperience with electronic health recordsKnowledge of medical terminologyAbility to perform triageAttention to detailWillingness to learn and adaptReliable transportationMedical Assistant DiplomaAdditional Skills & QualificationsEPIC experience preferredExperience in patient careFamiliarity with appointment scheduling and insurance verificationExperience in an OBGYN settingWork Environment
The role operates within an OBGYN setting, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (no weekends)
The workplace is equipped with modern medical technology and electronic health records systems. Professional attire is expected to maintain a high standard of patient care and practice management.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
