Overview: We are seeking an experienced OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) Developer with strong Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) experience to join our team. The OBIEE Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining OBIEE reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that integrate with Oracle EBS. The role involves collaborating with business analysts, functional users, and technical teams to provide insights and reporting solutions that support decision-making and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:OBIEE Development:Design, develop, and maintain OBIEE reports, dashboards, and analyses to support business processes and decision-making.Customize and enhance existing OBIEE reports and dashboards to improve functionality and performance.Build interactive and user-friendly dashboards with drill-down capabilities.Oracle E-Business Suite Integration:Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes to integrate OBIEE with Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, HR, Supply Chain, and Procurement.Ensure accurate data extraction from EBS and mapping to OBIEE reporting layers.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between OBIEE and Oracle EBS.Data Modeling and Repository Development:Design and manage the OBIEE repository (RPD) including physical, business, and presentation layers.Optimize data models for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient querying and reporting.Maintain and update RPD layers to reflect changes in business requirements and source data.Requirement Gathering and Collaboration:Work closely with business analysts, functional teams, and end users to gather and understand reporting requirements.Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop solutions to meet these needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports and analytics.Performance Tuning:Optimize OBIEE reports, dashboards, and data models for performance, ensuring fast query execution and minimal latency.Perform tuning of SQL queries, OBIEE server configurations, and data models for optimal performance.Security and Access Control:Implement and manage security protocols within OBIEE to ensure users have appropriate access to reports and data.Work with Oracle EBS security teams to manage user roles and privileges for integrated reporting solutions.Testing and Documentation:Develop and execute test plans for reports, dashboards, and data models.Provide thorough documentation for all development work, including technical designs, configurations, and user guides.Support and Maintenance:Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for OBIEE and Oracle EBS integrated reporting solutions.Respond to and resolve user queries, issues, and enhancement requests in a timely manner.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.3+ years of experience in OBIEE development, with strong expertise in Oracle EBS integration.In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Financials, Supply Chain, Procurement) and their data structures.Experience in designing and developing OBIEE RPD layers (Physical, Business, Presentation).Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.Experience in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using OBIEE.Understanding of ETL processes and experience with data integration tools.Knowledge of Oracle database architecture and performance tuning.Familiarity with Oracle EBS security and user roles management.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
