Obsolescence Engineer

Summary: Seeking an Obsolescence Engineer to manage obsolescence solutions, predictive reporting, and component engineering.

Job Requirements:

BS Degree from a 4-year College or University

5+ years related electrical/electronic hardware experience

Component Engineering with obsolescence experience

Demonstrated Material Declaration experience (ROHS and Reach CRT)

Experience in BOM Scrubbing

Knowledge of MS Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Silicon Expert for Predictive Obsolescence reports

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate obsolescence management solutions based on customer requirements, parts availability, lifetime buy options, and production needs

Manage Predictive Obsolescence reports using Silicon Expert

Utilize an obsolescence tracking tool to document issues from notification to solution implementation



Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
