Let your skills shine as an OBGYN.

With no two patients or days alike, you'll collaborate to provide out-of-the-box, patient-focused strategies.  Here are a few of the responsibilities you can expect:

Provide obstetrical care and treatment –including preconception, pregnancy itself, labor and delivery, and routine antepartum follow-up. High risk pregnancy management. General gynecology services– including Pap testing, birth control, clinical breast exams, emergency, and routine care. Perform complex gynecological and robotic procedures for cancer and non-cancerous problems. Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions such as: Premenstrual syndrome and menopausal symptoms. Infertility treatment. Sexual dysfunction. Pelvic rehabilitation. Hormonal problems. Urinary tract infections. Sexually transmitted infections/disease.

 

What you’ll need as an OBGYN.

 

• Graduate from an accredited Medical School. 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN.

• Active New York Medical License.

The Physician will:

Provide professional services to the Hospital’s patient population (including but not limited to assessment, treatment and management of care) and assure continuity of care for those patients assigned to Physician.  The professional services provided shall be consistent with the requirements in place at the time for all applicable federal, state and local regulatory entities (including, without limitation, The Joint Commission). As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, work with designated Hospital administrators to provide input into the Practice Location’s budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist with the selection, supervision and evaluation of the Practice Location’s staff. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist the Hospital in recruitment of additional physicians specializing in fetal medicine to the area served by the Hospital. Participate in utilization management, quality improvement, patient satisfaction programs and committees as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital. Participate in such teaching or community benefit programs or other activities as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital from time to time. Participate in after hours and on call coverage as may be indicated for patient care and practice needs. Provide and perform such other services as may reasonably be requested by the Hospital from time to time.
