Obstetrics Technician - Kadlec Regional Medical Center - Richland, WA

Under the direction of the Unit Manager or designee, assists in preparation and care of pregnant surgical patients requiring cesarean section and related procedures in the Operating Room; Performs a variety of technical tasks related to the function of the Birth Center; Assists in patient care as assigned; Performs quality infant hearing screening as needed and performs routine and delegated duties according to departmental policies; and performs a variety of other related clerical and receptionist duties to assist in the flow of patients.

Shift Details:

Full-time, 0.9 FTE, Night Shift, 0040 - No Daily Overtime 40 Hour Week
 

Required Qualifications:

Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program. or Coursework/Training: Formal training in military. Surgical Technician, Obstetric Technician or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Upon hire: National Certification as a Surgical Technician, Obstetric Technician, or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
