Provides occupational therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain occupational skills. Organizes and carries out planned activities for patients in extended care unit and swing beds.

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form. Ability to master computer skills needed to document patient care, enter charges and perform basic internet research. Ability to operate therapeutic equipment including treadmill, bicycle ergometer, pulleys, upper extremity ergometer, CPM, electrical stimulator, ultrasound, traction. Ability to perform manual therapy and exercise techniques that require pushing, pulling, overhead

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
