If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a Recertification / Occupancy Specialist to assist with the day-to-day leasing operations at our 96 unit HUD Project Based Section 8 and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) affordable housing community in Woodbury, NJ. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A Recertification / Occupancy Specialist Schedule appointments and maintain tracking systems for initial lease ups, renewals, annual recertifications and/or general inquiries Maintain neat, accurate and organized paper and electronic filing systems Prepare and send preliminary applicant notices for lease ups Assist staff with preparation and distribution of lease renewals and recertification documents Provide front desk reception coverage in the office, including answering phones and emails Assist staff with the handling of all applicant/resident questions and concerns professionally and expeditiously Provide general support to office staff Perform additional duties which may be assigned, Qualifications WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR One year of experience in managing affordable housing properties with HUD Project-Based Section 8 and/or Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) strongly preferred Experience with RealPage OneSite is a plus High School Diploma or equivalent is required You are committed to exceed expectations of those around you by providing exceptional service You bring determination each day – embracing constructive criticism and pushing to get better You believe in teamwork – that we are better, together You are trustworthy and reliable to do the right thing – no matter what You welcome everyone and know the best ideas are born through diversity of thought and perspective A BIT ABOUT US At Related we believe in enriching lives through affordable housing.
