Occupational Health Coordinator (Myrtle Beach)

Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.  

Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. 

Creates and maintains clerical process for the department.

Responsible for posting charges and payments for all office locations in compliance with hospital polices.

Prepares bank deposits and transports to bank; provides information to Finance. 

Prepares settlement report for credit card payments. 

Serves as Timekeeper in API, processing payroll for employees and payroll corrections.

Processes Travel & ED forms.

Maintains Certificates of Absence on all employee.

Completes outpatient pharmacy invoices to PHT and balances pharmacy payments monthly.

Serves as Point of Contact for clients regarding billing questions and concerns. 

Clerical duties include, but not limited to meeting set-up; manage check requests; oversight of supply ordering; serves as assistant to Medical Director, Assistant Directors of Safety and Clinical Operations, VP and other providers as needed. 

Creates claims in eClinicalWorks to submit to insurance for payment and posts payments in eClinicalWorks.

Runs eClinicalWorks Financial report daily and enters amount in MPA spreadsheet for all cost centers.

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to problem solve and follow through to solutions.

All other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications /Training:

Minimum requirement – High School diploma; Occupational health experience preferred, but not required.

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

Minimum requirement – High School diploma

Valid LPN License
