Job Description

To administer first aid treatment to injured or ill Team Members. To monitor, treat and provide follow-up on work-incurred injuries and to assess and evaluate potential work-incurred injuries.Evaluate, treat (per standing orders) and advise.  Schedule medical appointment when necessary and provide follow-up care per doctor orders.Coordinate/communicate with Forepersons, Superintendents, Worker’s Compensation and external medical providers to insure proper medical treatment of injured Team Member.  Maintain current and accurate medical records for each Team MemberCoordinate Company activitiesCoordinate annual hearing testsParticipate in safety trainingMaintain weekly safety statistics.  Provide information to Forepersons, Superintendents, Plant Managers, Operations Manager, Director of Operations and Human Resources, as neededMaintain adequate medical inventoryAdministration of worker's compensation documentationParticipating in community-related activities (e.g. Relay for Life)Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must have a valid unencumbered LVN license in the State of Louisiana or a compact state license. CPR/AED certified.  Preferred: Wound care experience, employee health experience, knowledge of OSHAProficient in MS Office
