Job Description

Pay Range: $108,200 to $135,250 per year

The Occupational Health Nurse Manager is expected to maintain required certifications along with knowledge, skills, and expertise through professional development activities. The following engagement will be included and expected with your employment with Foster Farms as an Occupational Health Nurse Manager:

Workers’ Compensation case management and cost containmentSupport Return-to-Work Programs and partner with referrals to HR for FMLA when appropriateManage Medical Services program and staff including scheduling, performance evaluations, and recruiting.New hire orientationErgonomic assessmentFirst Aid/AED/CPR certifiedTeam approach with Safety, Operations and Human Resources DepartmentDrug and alcohol testingComply with the Blood Borne Pathogens ProgramDeliver acute onsite injury/illness managementThis corporate position works closely with onsite HR, Safety, Production Managers, supervisors, and line leaders to promote a healthy, safe, effective, and sustainable workforce.Communicate with Occupational Health Medical Clinics, Hospitals, and our Workers Compensation Resolution Managers to obtain the best outcome for our Team Members.

Qualifications

Must have a valid unencumbered RN license in the State of California or a compact state license. CPR/AED certified.Preferred: Wound care experience, employee health experience, knowledge of OSHA sensitive conservative care options.Previous management experience and Microsoft Office experience required.
