· Complete health assessments and initial injury intake.

· Perform routine medical task associated with medical screenings and health assessments

· Monitor patient vitals, behaviors, and assist in medical emergencies that may occur on company premises such as accidents, injuries, sudden illnesses, etc.

· Co-Administrator of the Hearing Conservation Program

· Perform the administration of drug and alcohol screening

· Perform direct and indirect care for our employees overall wellness needs

· Provide assistance with maintaining medical records

· Any other custodial task as assigned by the Occupational Nurse

· Active leadership role on the Wellness Team and Wellness Projects

· Assist with OSHA recordkeeping

Qualifications

 

· EMT or Licensed Practical Nurse Degree is preferred

· Bachelors Degree in Health Related Field is preferred

· At least three years of health experience in an industrial setting is preferred

· Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

· Good organizational skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously

· Experience generating positive communication is required along with a genuine caring attitude

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to work all shifts

· Must be willing to further education and training to perform essential tasks as required

· Computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)

· Working knowledge of Pharmacology

· Hearing Conservation Certification is preferred

· Knowledge of DOT guidelines is preferred
