Position Summary
Conducts occupational therapy evaluations and treatments according to established standards of occupational therapy and physician’s referral and occupational therapy plan of care. Evaluates children’s fine and gross motor skills, sensorimotor visual perception, social/emotional and self-care skills. Delivers therapeutic treatment(s) according to specified procedures.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Evaluates infants, toddlers and children; develops appropriate treatment plans.
2. Provides developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions.
3. Completes thorough and accurate evaluation reports and ongoing daily session notes and progress reports.
4. Maintains acceptable levels of clinical productivity ; submits billing accordingly.
5. Counsels and educates patient, family or caregiver regarding treatment goals and progress.
6. Communicates with other essential medical and community/school personnel.
7. Maintains personal knowledge and skill levels and contributes to enhancing that of colleagues.

Minimum Education:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
Minimum Years of Experience:
Required:
1-3 years experience providing therapy within a pediatric setting working with infants, toddlers and children: will consider new graduate
License, Registry or Certification:
Required: Current New Jersey Occupational Therapy license. Occupational Therapy Registration – AOTA. Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required: Pediatric experience. Knowledge of Neuro-developmental and Sensory Integration treatment, typical/atypical child development
