Our Occupational Therapists see between 4 to 6 patients daily for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, or treatments. We have 60-minute sessions 1:1 with patients. You’ll work alongside physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other health professionals to assess patients, develop a plan of care, and carry out their treatment plan. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with a Neuro focus for this role. You’ll evaluate and re-evaluate patients and provide physicians with updates on improvements to the patient’s daily life.

Responsibilities

We are offering $10K in relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Work with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and others to evaluate new patients and recommend a plan of care.Provide treatments to patients focusing on increasing range of motion, strengthening, and maintaining balance during daily activitiesRecommend adaptive equipment and customize it as neededPerform re-evaluation assessments to update progress, status changes, etc.Document all evaluations, treatments, and any changes to the treatment plan
Qualifications

Minimum

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the state of ArizonaAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support

Preferred

Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area 2 years progressive experience in clinical area performing patient clinical care Prior use of electronic health record
