Position Details: Onsite, Full-time
AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide support for students at two elementary schools in Antioch, IL. This position is available immediately and will run through May 29, 2025. The Occupational Therapist will work with a mixed caseload, including students in self-contained classrooms, general education, and resource levels. This role requires a dedicated professional to assist with enhancing student independence and developing functional skills to improve their academic and daily lives.
Responsibilities:Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, including self-contained, general education, and resource-level students.Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs, create individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress.Develop and implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and school environment.Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insights and recommendations.Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and outcomes.Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student growth, engagement, and independence.
Qualifications:Required: Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
