Seneca is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist for a full or part-time role. As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you'll assess students and help develop their fine and gross motor skills, posture, and movement. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to empower students on their learning journey. You'll provide consultation to teachers, train parents and professionals on OT strategies, and coordinate with community agencies. This role includes travel to multiple school sites to ensure comprehensive care and support. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy initial assessments and reassessments for children with occupational therapy needsDocument evaluations in a thorough and professional mannerProvide in-depth occupational therapy consultation for teachers, providing professional insights for early OT interventions for their studentsProvide occupational therapy services to students in support of their needs and treatment goalsWork collaboratively with other Seneca staff members including, Speech and Language Pathologists, Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, Clinicians, and Student Support AssistantsAssist in providing in-service training in gross and fine motor skills, sensory motor regulations, as well as posture and movement to parents, teachers, administrators and other professionalsAssist in coordinating, communicating and seeking consultation with community agencies as appropriate Qualifications

REQUIRED

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational TherapyCurrent license by the California Board of Occupational TherapyProof of liability insuranceExperience with language techniques, sensory motor integration, and physical restorationValid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policyTB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirementsProof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination
